Question- How long has Pegasys been operating? What is the experience of Pegasys and its team members?

Answer- Pegasys was incorporated in 2002 to operate in the legal process solutions and IT development domain. Senior team members at Pegasys have extensive experience in their specific domain area. Most of the team members are well qualified specialists, working in the legal process outsourcing industry for over five years individually. We also have US and UK qualified attorneys. One of the US attorneys is a member in the New York bar council.

Question- Which legal markets/countries you operate in?

Answer- We cater to law firms, single attorneys, legal counsels and corporate in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada to help them with their legal outsourcing needs.

Question- How are your projects scoped?

Answer- Our dedicated process consultants work with our clients and our delivery teams, to properly scope and plan projects. Usually, a pilot phase helps in creating a more specific scope for the project.

Question- How does your project team communicate with clients?

Answer- We believe in complete transparency, hence we believe in keeping the client posted about the status of a delivery at every stage. We conduct weekly conference calls with senior lawyers at the client’s office. Our project managers keep the client coordinator updated about each days progress either through telephone or through e-mail.

Question- With whom do I communicate during a project?

Answer- Our teams are divided according to the project requirements and number of people to be deployed for the project. Each team is led by an experienced project manager for handling client specific projects. Under all circumstances, the clients would have direct access to the manager for their project. If required, the technical team may also communicate with the client, to discuss technical requirements.

Question- Where will my data be hosted?

Answer- Usually, when the clients outsource the project, the information shared is hosted at our servers based in India. We also work on the clients' servers by logging in to the client’s network and hence ensuring that no data leaves the clients' office.

Question- In what formats do you deliver the projects?

Answer- If we have an ongoing relationship with our client, all work product and project-related correspondence will be delivered from a client-dedicated email id. If desired, we deliver work product by fax. Also, we can provide with an option of creating FTP for client login so that the client can directly assign and pick up projects.

Question- Is there any time advantage dealing with Pegasys?

Answer- We ensure that at least 15 % of our resources are on bench. This is to basically handle any rush cases that our clients might want us to work on, and also to handle pilot assignments, as and when we start our relationship with new clients. Our team works throughout to ensure round the clock attention to your work.

Question- Is the work product of Pegasys covered by the attorney-client privilege?

Answer- Confidential information given by a lawyer to any other expert witness, insurer, paralegal or us retains its privileged character. All client communications transmitted to Pegasys are for the purpose of furthering the client's interest and assistance towards providing the best possible legal advice to the client.

Question- How is the work assigned and distributed in Pegasys?

Answer- At Pegasys, we follow the same traditional work flow process as prevalent in the LPO industry but in a different manner. This process uses the support of our work methodology and support tools to build the necessary operational efficiencies.

Question- What is the pricing structure? How do you bill?

Answer- Our billing methods are very flexible, based on the convenience of our client. Depending on the areas and complexity of the matter, our professional charges can be calculated:

  • On hourly basis
  • On a lump sum / flat fee basis
  • On dedicated resource basis
  • On other terms that may be mutually agreed upon

We send out an invoice and a supporting time sheet with details of all the assignments delivered in a given month, to our clients at the end of each month. We offer three choices of payment. Our clients can pay either through credit cards, or Paypal, or through wire transfer.
